just before the wallmuralwhales

my ring began to vibrate so

Meg, this brought tears to my eyes. I trust your baby-girl is ok?

We think so. One of her eyelids is slightly droopier than the other and she has a bit of a twitch, so her pediatrician referred us to a pediatric eye doctor, who requested an MRI to check a particular nerve. It took forever and was exhausting. We don't yet know the results -- I'm hoping to hear something today. Most likely everything is fine, but you know what it's like to be a mommy!

Yikes, what an experience! I know it must have been really hard for both of you. :-(

They say that to have children is to have your heart walk around on the outside of your body, but my god, there's no way to describe how gut wrenching that can be.

When y'all know what's going on let us know, and we'll be thinking of you.

I hope everything turns out okay.

Any update on the results?

No -- not yet. Aaargh. It was really a drag to be in that office for that long and then just leave, not knowing anything. I will be sure to update everyone as soon as I know more. In the meantime, we're just trying to adjust to sub-freezing temps after wearing shorts all day yesterday....

Ugh, the "waiting" is awful too.

This weather is bizarre, isn't it? Someone at work was saying it's supposed to be warm again tomorrow or later this week.

Still haven't heard anything about the results? I hope the no news is good news.
