Acoustic Cafe

Rurality recently posted some lovely pictures taken at Steve Masterson's place, just a hop-skip-and-a-jump from where we live. Every May, Steve is the gracious host of the Acoustic Cafe. We can't make it this year, but if anyone out there is looking for a great little music festival this Memorial Day weekend, check it out.

Here are some pictures from the 2006 event. (I no longer have them on my computer and attempts at downloading them from a Shutterfly shared site didn't work. You don't have to sign into Shutterfly or create an account or any such thing -- just click View Album and then click on each picture individually or watch the slide show.)

Did you ever figure out what that bush or white wildflower that you posted on April 8th was. I have a couple in my backyard and am trying to figure out what they are also. The picture you took is identical to what I have. Thanks, Terri :)

Hi Terri ~ Thanks for stopping by! I still don't have the answer, but I know someone who is a master gardener and I bet she'd know. You have inspired me to drop her a line and ask her -- I'll let you know what she says.

Hey HB ~ We have been a few times and would like to return, but we had a slightly traumatic port-a-potty experience last year. Neal had just grown out of diapers but wasn't willing to brave the tall, blue potties (and I don't blame him, really). The end result was poo in the tent -- so much poo in the tent that we had to pack it up and go home!
