Look what I found in Leah's school tote bag. Pretty typical Alabama split.
I had to laugh when I heard someone in another state talk about using a touch screen to cast her ballot. Here in Hayden, we used black magic markers to connect one side of an arrow to another.
Yes, apparently she polled some of her classmates. We looked at some pictures of the Obamas the other day, and she was very interested in the girls, their names, their ages, and all that. Kind of neat that she can connect to the story via the children.
Wait a minute! They let you use markers on your ballot? We had to use tiny little pencils, and I do mean "tiny." They made those little golf course pencils look thick by comparison.
i live across the road from some cows with my jammie husband, two dimpled children, a dog and cat, and lots of chickens ~ we also share our space with rabbits, deer, armadillos, snakes, turtles, and coyotes ~ i write songs, play guitar, and occasionally perform with a small band ~ i ran my first marathon in february, 2009 ~ 2012 UPDATE: i live in a van, down by the river! really!!!

That's really funny. Did she run a poll? Tell her we're behind her 100%!

Dang -- it's hard to get much smaller than a golf pencil, unless you're just holding graphite!
