no weeds here, ma'am
Lately in the afternoons, the kids collect wildflowers for their self-styled flower shop. They carefully pick them, trim them, gather the stems, and wrap a little tape around them. In order to acquire a bouquet from the shop, you must offer flowers of your own.
It's hard work gathering all those flowers. Time to take a break ~
i live across the road from some cows with my jammie husband, two dimpled children, a dog and cat, and lots of chickens ~ we also share our space with rabbits, deer, armadillos, snakes, turtles, and coyotes ~ i write songs, play guitar, and occasionally perform with a small band ~ i ran my first marathon in february, 2009 ~ 2012 UPDATE: i live in a van, down by the river! really!!!

I need a blackberry jam thinking chair! One more reason to have kids: wildflower picking helpers. Love the photos.
Mmm, blackberry jam. Like the flower shop, I've been doing some of that myself.
Hey Heather K ~ Indeed, everyone needs a jam chair!
Hi TCE ~ I can't wait until the berries appear. My sister-in-law taught me how to make jam last year and we ate it all summer long. Mmmmmmm.
